How Rahami Agri Group Ltd collects, uses and protects personal information.
Who we are
Rahami Agri Group Ltd ("Rahami", "we") processes cashew nuts in Tanzania. We are responsible for the personal information described here. We handle it in line with the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 of Tanzania and its regulations.
Buyers and business contacts
When you request a quote or contact us, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number and the details of your request, such as grade, quantity, destination, packaging, delivery period, Incoterm and certification requirements.
We use this information to answer your request, prepare quotations and manage any order that follows. We also record how you reached our website (for example a search engine, a social media post or a campaign link) so we can understand which channels work. We do not sell your information.
Job applicants
When you apply for a job we collect the details on the application form, your CV and any documents you attach. We use them only to assess your application and, if you are hired, to start your employment record.
To help our team review applications fairly and quickly, the text of CVs and cover letters is compared with the requirements of the role and given a score. A person in our team always reviews applications before any decision is communicated to you.
We keep applications for up to 12 months after the position closes, so we can consider you for similar roles, and then delete them. You may ask us to delete your application sooner.
Website visits
Our website uses only the cookies it needs to work and to protect forms from abuse. While you browse, a small note of how you arrived is kept in your browser for that visit only, so that a request for quote can show its source.
We count visits to our pages to see which information is useful. This uses no cookies and stores no IP address: each visit is recorded with the page, the kind of device, the site you came from and a code that changes every day, so a visitor cannot be followed from one day to the next. These counts are kept for about a year.
Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts. The map of our office comes from Google Maps and loads only when you tap it; Google then receives the technical details of your connection under its own privacy policy. The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, which is run by Meta under its own terms.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, such as email and hosting providers, under appropriate safeguards, and where the law requires it. For export orders, details needed for shipping and documentation are shared with logistics providers, banks and authorities.
How long we keep information
Quote requests and business correspondence are kept for as long as needed for the business relationship and for legal and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
